The Family and Domestic Violence Outreach Service is a free, confidential support service for those experiencing family or domestic violence.

Family and Domestic Violence Outreach Service

The free service provides support and advocacy to adult victims/survivors of family and domestic violence and their families.


The support provided by this service includes:

  • Information about safe accommodation options
  • Referral to other relevant agencies'
  • Advocacy on victim's behalf to other agencies
  • Support with legal and court proceedings
  • Police liaison
  • Education and information about family and domestic violence
  • Emotional support

The impacts of FDV is long-lasting and the knock-on effects damage our society as a whole.

CFSS WA offers a range of services to assist victims of family and domestic violence, to help them build healthy relationships and develop skills to thrive in the future.

We also work with perpetrators to help them manage their anger and learn to communicate in a healthy, effective and safe manner.


Referrals

We welcome referrals from the community. Any child or young person who has experienced sexual FDV can access this service. If the needs of your family fall outside the scope of this service, we will help you to find an appropriate, alternative service. We also work with families who are currently engaged with the Department of Communities Child Protection and Family Support. Referrals from community, government or private practitioners are also welcome.
